Abstracts
Send your abstract by e-mail to abstracts@smyte27.org. The deadline for sending the abstract is June 15th. Please indicate "poster" or "oral presentation" as subject of your e-mail. You may submit your abstract only after registration.
You should receive an e-mail from us confirming that your submission has the necessary file and information. Please check your e-mail regularly until your abstract is approved, because we might need additional input from you.
By July 15th, all meeting attendees will receive detailed info concerning their poster or oral presentation.
Please be sure to read the abstract instructions so your abstract will meet our formatting guidelines.
Formatting Guidelines
The length of the abstract including references, but excluding title, authors and affiliations, must not exceed 1800 characters, spaces included. The abstract should be provided in MS Word *.doc (not *.docx) or general *.rtf format only. Abstracts should be single spaced in 12 point Times Roman (or Times) font.
Title should be on the first line and followed by one return.
The Author list is on the second line and must be followed by one return. Include the names of all authors and underline the name of the presenting author. Present names as last name, first name. Indications for institution should be given in natural numbers, starting with 1.
Institutions are mentioned on the third line and should be followed by one return. Include all institutional affiliations.
The text should be written in English. Please spell out Greek symbols.
A maximum of three relevant references may be included. Please present references in the format (last name, first initial, et al., (year) abbreviated name of journal, volume, pages).
If you have any remarks or additional information for our editors, include them on an extra page in the abstract text.
